LEE EPPERSON Virgie Lee Epperson, 83, of Las Vegas, left this earth to join our Lord, Wednesday, April 25, 2007. Born Virgie Lee Stutts in Alabama, March 19, 1924, to Price and Nora Stutts, she was the oldest of seven children. "Lee" resided in Las Vegas for 32 years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was kind, caring and generous with all who knew her. She was an antique collector and loved restoring houses and furniture. She was an active member at Shadow Hills Baptist Church for many years. Her faith in the Lord sustained her many times throughout her life. She died peacefully in her bed after a 15 year battle with Scleroderma. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jeannie; her brother, Alvin; and her two beloved husbands, Salvador Danell and Ellsworth Epperson. She was such a blessing to everyone who knew her. She will be missed forever. She is survived by her only child, Charlotte (Wally) Besuden; her grandsons, Cahlen and Chase; granddaughter, Carly; her siblings, Marie West, Maylene Gibson, Shirley Cornelius, and Mancil Stutts; and her stepchildren, Pauline (Larry) Rodarte and children, Betty (Tony) Ford and children, Victor (Donna) Danell and children, and Michael Danell and son. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 7811 Vegas Drive.
