Mr. Frank was a great teacher. I was deeply upset to hear of his death. I just got the news today. He will never be forgotten, and I owe some of my success to him, for being a great teacher. He definately made a huge impact on my life. R.I.P. Mr. Frank

With Prayers and Sympathy to the Family of Lee.
I had the pleasure of working with Lee for a number of years as his faculty secretary. His humor and genuine care and concern for the student was always present. Lee would always call and say, this is "Fronk" using his fake accent. I will always remember Lee with fondness and miss his humor.

To the Family of Lee Frank,

Lee was a CCAC colleague of my late husband, Neil Cohen. I remember Lee as being a gentleman and a good friend. Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Lee.

I've known him as a loving uncle for the past 30+ years, a staple in our family's most wonderful as well as challenging moments, but it's amazing to see how much more he was to so many people, and how he touched so broad an array of individuals with his talents and warmth.

Jennifer and I will miss his jovial demeanor and strong presence dearly in the coming months and time, but we also know that his memory and sense of life will permeate our family, and others that he's touched, for years to come.

All our love, thoughts and praryers.

To the family of Lee Frank,

I was a student of Lee's almost 20 years ago at CCAC-South. I was also the editor of the student newspaper, The Forum. Lee was not only an excellent teacher, but also a wonderful athletic director. Interviewing him was easy & enjoyable. He was always accessible to students. And we appreciated that so much. I was very saddened to hear of his death. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very difficult time.

For only four months, six hours per week, I sat before a man who began to clarify a seemingly complex society. That semester ended nearly twenty-three years ago. But the lessons learned in "Frank's sociology class" are especially applicable today.
Professor Frank was a TRUE educator. He cared and "we" knew he cared. His legacy was making "us" believe in positive social change. To his Family, know that Lee Frank made a differenc for his inspiration lives within his students.

It is with great sadness I write this.

Lee Frank was one of the favorite instructors most students ever had at CCAC South Campus. Students still visit South Campus and ask about him.
Lee was a great instructor to work with. He was a caring and thoughtful man. He would go out of his way to work not only with the athletes of the college, but if he encounted a student in one of his classes, he tried to make sure they would get acquainted with anyone who could help them. He brought numerous students to the Supportive Services Center to get "a little extra help". He would encourage them to continue to seek all necessary help, and he checked. He was always looking for ways to bring out the best in all CCAC, South Campus students.

May you receive comfort in knowing, that CCAC, South Campus has also lost a good man. We share in your sorrow, yet we send our sympathy and support to you and your family during your time of need.
You will be in our prayers and thoughts.

Lee Frank was one of the most caring people I have met. He is one of the reasons for my academic success. He helped so many students and people in his lifetime. CCAC will certainly not be the same without him. May God bless Professor Frank. People like him do not pass through our lives very often.

To Cherie, Brad, Matt & Family,

I worked with Lee for many years as athletic secretary while he was athletic director at CCAC South. He really knew "athletics". I learned a lot from him in the years we worked together.

Students could always count on Lee. He would listen - which was a great quality - and he truly cared about what was going on.

Lee was a very eloquent speaker and writer and I've always admired that about him. He also had a great sense of humor. I will surely miss him.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Cherie, Matt, Brad, Elizabeth, Kevin, Richard:

I am so stunned and saddened by Lee's passing. I moved out of state just this past week, or I would be there to pay my respects. I was just checking the local news online when I stumbled upon this tragic news.

Cher, I will never forget how kind you and Lee were to invite me to social gatherings after I divorced. Lee was a real trip...made me laugh a lot. And he was such a smart man...made me think a lot, too.

Elizabeth, Kevin and Richard...I hope that you remember me. I was the paralegal you had contact with well over a year ago after your father and brother was so very ill, and when he finally was physically able to return to Pittsburgh.

I will keep all of you...and especially Brad and Matt...in my prayers during this sad, sad time. May God watch over you all, and God bless my buddy, Lee Frank.

Much love,
Michele Lang
