Lee was a true friend. He had a big generous heart and always made himself available to help others in any way that he could. He never failed to greet me with a big smile and warm hug. He always genuinely wanted to know how others were doing. He opened his heart and home in so many ways including hosting his annual BBQ/Picnic at his shop 211 Construction every July. Everyone and anyone was welcome including children for which he rented bouncy houses and slides, etc. He pulled our church´s 40th anniversary float with his tractor and later gave kids rides during the following celebration at the church. My grandson, at the time, was fascinated with the toy tractor he had displayed in a glass jar attached to the tractor:). Many winter months, he generously offered up the warmth of his shop to decorate the Christmas float for the parade. These are just a few of the things Lee did for others. He touched many lives with his warmth and generosity. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Lee Hayes, heaven is brighter tonight because you are now there.
In this picture, we are on just one of our Christmas nights out in Colorado. We always had such wonderful times together, dinners, hog roasts, Seabee picnics, farm visits, tractor talk, Memorial days in Strasburg and so much more.
Hug Sandi and Randy for each one us. We have a deep hole in our hearts and our tears are heavy. You are and will be sorely missed friend. We will see you again one day.

We are so sorry to hear that your dad, brother, and grandpa has died. We loved Lee. He was such a a joy to see and visit with at church. Loved going to his July picnic. He was always ready and willing to help wherever he was needed. He will be missed.
