I am a realtor and represented him in several transactions. He enjoyed life and was jet skiing, dancing or driving his BMW sportscar. I admired their marriage. Marlene and he also travelled quite a bit. He renovated his home after he put a letter in mailboxes that he wanted to buy on the RB golf course and a realtor responded he wanted to sell. I lived near him when he lived in The Trails. I am sure he will be sorely missed.

My condolences to the Okeson Family. Lee was a great supporter of the Geography Department at the University of North Dakota, and we are honored by the endowment of the Lee and Marlene Okeson fellowship that has supported so many of our graduate students.

Condolences to Marlene and the Okeson family.
Lee was one of my supervisors in the City of San Diego Planning Dept. A good man to work for and with. And since I was originally from South Dakota we had great fun sharing stories of midwest winters with SoCal natives. I had the pleasure of helping Lee and Marlene celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary. A wonderful couple. Lee will be missed but leaves a portfolio of memories.

My condolences to Marlene and to my cousin Lee´s entire family. He led a full life and was for sure a great man. I don´t believe I ever saw a photo of him where wasn´t smiling, he had a great smile. My late wife Mary and I visited them in the 90´s at Rancho Bernardo. So I guess this just leaves me, I believe all my 24 cousins have sadly left us. Rest in Peace Lee
