What an honor it was to play cello on The Messenger song he wrote. I just learned of his passing. I´m heartbroken. Sending my condolences to the family.

I remember Lee from our ROTC days at SC in `93. I had gone to high school in Texas too, and that was a great group of guys in that Freshman ROTC class. We were a mischievous bunch. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to the parents and siblings.

Many of our fondest memories often come from just a few people. Lee was one of those people. As his Plebe roommate, I listened as he taught himself to play the guitar, listened when he talked about Airborne school, and listened when his crazy team leader made outrageous demands of him. We enjoyed a lot of weekend passes together, and he ate Thanksgiving dinner with my family. Always polite, always considerate, always faithful. Be thou at peace, Lee.

Deep condolences on your loss. While I only knew Lee in college, he was one of the bright spots in a gray world. His musical talent and great spirit will live on on those who were fortunate to meet him. Many grieve with you, Jon (USMA 98)

Please accept Amy and I's condolences on Lee's passing. I knew him back in college. I loved his positive vibe in a place that was a such a grind for many of us, just never seemed to phase him. I'm near DFW, so if I or his other North Texas classmates can help at all, please let me know.
Be Thou at Peace, Lee
