Leenie (Ray) Boros, age 34, of Carnegie formerly of Crafton passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2023.
Born on October 21,1988 in McKees Rocks, she is the daughter of Cynthia Pittman and Randal Pittman.
Beloved wife of over 4 years to Idaho Boros.
Loving husky mom to the late Skye.
Sister of Jason A. (Courtney) Ray and Joshua A. (Hilary) Ray.
Aunt of Jonathan, Desiree, Nicholas, Alyssa, Becca, Elizabeth, Cameron, Emalia, Rylie, and Mia.
Great-Aunt of Declan, Brantley and Granger.
Leenie enjoyed diamond painting, crafting, video gaming, tabletop gaming, and writing. Her favorite hobby was live streaming on Twitch, where she gathered a community of viewers who always tuned in to watch whatever she was playing, crafting, or just chatting. Leenie was also always advocating for her community, fundraising for a multitude of organizations she felt passionate for, including local animal shelters and LGBTQIA+ projects. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her, especially the few who knew her as the magnificent silver dragon that she was underneath.
In the highest tower, nestled on the highest peak, lived a silver dragon who loved a goblin. She was a queen who commanded a flight of twenty-seven dragons. No knight could slay her, yet her own breath was her heel. A dragon heart should last forever, yet hers was too big for this world. She hoarded no treasure of her own, yet somehow she left more for this world than she was ever given in life. One thermodynamic miracle, an event with odds against so astronomical they are effectively impossible, like oxygen spontaneously becoming silver. For thirty-four short years she happened on this earth and a goblin was witness to that miracle for little more than a decade that is the crowning unlikelihood, and if none of that makes any sense to you, today we meet in good company.
A celebration of life is set to be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to three of Leenie's favorite organizations, the ASPCA, , the Children's Foundation, , or the Trevor Project, .
