My thoughts and prayers go out to Leigh's family and friends. We were friends @ Sanderson and did ballet together. We lost track of each other, and then reconnected several times thru the years. I will always remember Leigh as a beautiful person on the inside and outside. I know that she will be missed by so many!

I was at Sanderson with Leigh but lost touch after graduation. What I remember of Leigh is her sweet, peaceful face, beautiful smile, and that she carried herself like a lady even at a young age. May God's peace be with all of you.

I just wanted Leigh's family to know how much she was loved by her friends. I know she was the best friend I ever had and I will miss her terribly for the rest of my life! I will also carry thoughts of Leigh's beautiful spirit with me for the rest of my life...

I am so sorry that I have not kept in touch with Leigh. She was my teacher's assistant at Conn Elem. for several years. She helped me in so many ways and was always there when I needed her both professionaly and personaly. She was always giving to others. I hope her girls find soltice in the memories. She loved them so very much! I am truly sorry for their loss.

I am so sad to learn of Leigh's passing. I attended middle school and high school with Leigh, and had reconnected with her in the last year. I will always remember her gentle, sweet spirit. May her family and friends find peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember sitting in classes with Leigh at Sanderson and running into her occasionally in North Raleigh running errands in recent years. Leigh always had the sweetest smile and disposition. I can only imagine how she showered her family with her love and how badly she will be missed. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Our condolences to the Jones family from the Pressons. We have good memories of Leigh and many thanks to her for baby setting our children. Our children remember the Santa Claus visits by Leigh and her grandfather Thompson.

I did not have the good fortune to have known Leigh long but am so grateful for the time I did. We had many laughs and good times in such a short time. Our family has suffered a great loss with Leigh going to be with our Heavenly Father. Oh this hurts. Rusty Smith, Frank Fields and I always called Leigh our "little Sister", as she rode with us every day to Sanderson. I only hope all those times we did those "ugly" guy things in the car, then rolled up the windows and turned on the heater didn't have a lasting affect. She was such a good sport. I will always remember when Leigh first moved into Eastgate and how she wowed us all. I talked with her all through her divorce and know how much that troubled and hurt her and tried to walk her through the concept of dating again. Leigh was such a sweet girl and I will miss talking to her greatly. To her family, please know that I am thinking an praying for you all. Words cannot express how sad I feel at this moment thinking she is gone. Hopefully, memories can keep those bright times afloat and in our conscious thoughts as we reflect on the good times in our lives. I miss you "lil Sis"...I hope you are all smiles now!
