I have so many happy and fond memories of Leila from her many visits to Calgary - fun at Christmas, walks in the snow with Susie, her love of cats, dancing, and general enthusiasm for life. Thinking of her, I can't help but smile. You were a beautiful lady, Leila, and your inspiration will live on in those who remember you.

I was speaking with my Aunt Birgit last night who told me about your mother's passing; I know she is very sad to have lost a dear friend. I didn't know your Mom well but I always remember her as being very young in spirit and friendly. Her spirit lives in all of you and in your memories of her.
