Sue and Jim Harper
June 1, 2024
My husband, Jim, and Jerry met at UW and were in the same fraternity. They became fast friends and I´ve heard many stories of their exploits. I met Jerry the Christmas before our wedding and from day one he treated me with like I was a treasured little sister. I´ve loved him that way ever since and will miss the smile that always started in his eyes. Jerry was Jim´s best man at our wedding and five months later we traveled from California to Washington for his wedding. I remember him confiding to me that he was nervous about how I would handle his marriage to Crystal because Ann and I were pretty close. He needn´t have worried. All that was important to me was his happiness and as it turned out Crystal and I hit it off like we´d been friends forever, and we have enjoyed many years of fun and memories. My heart aches for her and Denna and all the family and my prayers go to God daily for their sakes. Rest in peace, Jerry. We love you.
