WHITE HALL, MD Lelia M. ''Lillian'' Collins, 88, died Friday, May 8, 2009, at Manor Care Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Luther F. Collins. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom, with the Rev. Melissa A. McDade officiating. There will be a viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Interment will be in Stablers Cemetery, Parkton, Md. Born June 25, 1920, in Franklin County, Va., Lillian was the daughter of the late Haden P. and Ida (Schilling) Holt. Lillian was a homemaker and member of Stablers United Methodist Church, Parkton, Md., where she was a member of Stabler's Quilters. She loved to cook, sing, play guitar, and quilt. Surviving are a daughter, Hilda A. Street of Stewartstown; and two sons, Glenwood H. Collins of Felton and Arnold N. Collins of Parkton, Md. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Glenn A. Collins.
