Lena Rogers Obituary
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Gordon. Interment: New Gordon Cemetery.
Memorials: May be made to the Tri-City Ambulance Service through First National Bank of Gordon, or the Cowboy Church Department of the Texas Baptist Foundation, 333 N. Washington, Dallas, Texas 75246. Notation on the check should include Cowboy Church Division, Lena Rogers Memorial.
Survivors: Her daughter, Faye Keck and husband, Bill; daughter-in-law, Sue Rogers; grandchildren, Nelda Smithwick and husband, Randy, Randal Rogers, the Rev. Roger Keck and wife, Dana, Karen Sudhop and husband, Bob, and Patti Keck; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Everyone in our family remembers Muir Rogers with such fondness! My husband is a brotherof Mrs. Rogers' daughter in law, but we never felt like weren't family. Many of our holidays were spent together including one very special Thanksgiving. Mrs. Rogers always had a smile on her face, delighted in watching the children hunt Easter eggs, and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. A pillar of faith, she lived her life accordingly. No one worries where she will go! Heaven has just been waiting for this kind, generous,lovely woman. Were there more like her today. Faye, Bill, and family - you had the best!

We just want you to know what a grand testimony your Mom was to generations of folks at the First Baptist Church of Gordon. What an inspiration she was to my life! Her love for missions was unequaled.
