Lenore was born Aug. 16, 1916, in Longview. She was the daughter of Thelma Brown and Tom Clifford, both of pioneer families. Her family tree has been recorded dating back to England over 400 years ago. Lenore moved from Longview to Fort Worth in 1930. She graduated with honors from Stripling High School in 1934. She attended TCU and was a longtime supporter of the university. She was active in PTA and Camp Fire Girls, and was a member of Arlington Heights Christian Church since 1930 and a longtime member of Ridglea Town & Country Garden Club. Lenore loved all "God's living creatures" and was a supporter of a number of environmental causes. Her main interest was birds and she had an extensive collection of books, pictures and figurines.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Wayne G. Harrison Sr., who died in 1988. They were married Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1938. Her family will remember Lenore as a loving, warm and caring person. We will miss her deeply.
