Leo Conigliaro Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 23, 2023.

Found peace on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the age of 24. Preceded in death by his grandpa Wayne Kugler, his grandpa Vincent James Conigliaro, and his aunt and uncle Kevin and Laurena Goggins. Survived by his parents Angelique (Cary) Matzen and Anthony (Mirjam) Conigliaro. Further survived by his siblings Chance (Thea) Conigliaro and Vici Conigliaro, his grandparents Nancy Conigliaro, Barb Kugler, Rosie and Peter Haubert, his aunts and uncles Belinda (Bill) Infalt, Vincent (Jenny) Conigliaro, Patrick (Stefanie) Haubert, Marcus Conigliaro, Dwayne Stafford, and Matthew Stafford. Also survived by many close cousins, other family members, and friends.

Leo was a beautiful, loving, and caring person. He was known for his great sense of humor, always making funny faces in photos. Leo loved all animals, but especially cats, having brought home a few kittens as a kid. He enjoyed playing video games but also the outdoors with activities such as fishing and skateboarding. Leo also liked cars and motorcycles, and was very mechanically inclined. He never followed the rules of how to “fix” things, but he always figured it out in his own unique way. He was very creative and spent a lot of time writing poems. Above all, Leo loved being with his family. He was extremely close to his siblings Chance and Vici, and adored spending time with all of his family members. Leo wore his heart on his sleeve, and he will always be remembered for his kind and caring nature and his great hugs. He will be missed by many.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 starting at 12:00pm at Feerick Funeral Home (2025 E. Capitol Dr. Shorewood, WI 53211) with a memorial service to follow at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Leo’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, or to the family.
