DUROCHER, Leo Albert Passed away peacefully at the Country Village Health Care Center, with his family by his side, on March 4, 2003 at the age of 89 years. Husband to the late Lily (Bunny) (1988) Durocher. Loving father to Theresa Clermont and Emile of Essex, Rose Marie Lapierre and Bernard of Windsor, and Donald Durocher and wife Shelly of Comber. Proud grandfather to 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Dearest brother of Marie Markham of Maidstone, Cecile Hebert of Tecumseh, and brother-in-law to Denise Emery. Leo was a retired employee of the Chrysler Corporation with over 30 years of service. Predeceased by his son Robert (1989) and brother Edward (1977). Resting at the Steward L. Kennedy Funeral Home 128 Talbot St. N., Essex (776-7378) on Wednesday, from 2-5pm. and 7-9pm. Thursday from 2-5pm. and 7-9pm. Parish prayers to be held on Thursday evening at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Friday, March 7, 2003 at 10am. thence proceeding to Holy Name of Jesus Church, 146 Talbot St. S., Essex, for Mass of Christian burial at 10:30am. Father Chris Quinlan and Father Larry Brunet Celebrants. Interment in St. Mary's Church Cemetery. Memorial donations to the V.O.N. Lupus Foundation or the Windsor Regional Cancer Center would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences will be received at www.funeral-cast.com
