My sincere condolences to Uncle Leo's family. Uncle Leo has always been a kind and gentle soul, and will be missed by everyone who knew him. It is also so very hard when he is the last of his "family generation" to leave. I am sorry that I can not be there but wanted to send my sympathy. I am Vic Haddad's daughter Melody, my grandmother was Vera, uncle Leo's sister. My thoughts will be with your family.

Our sincere condolences to the entire family, and especially to Gordon and his immediate family (e.g. Paula, Derek and the kids). We wish that we could be there for you in Killaloe. Rick and I have fond memories of Leo and will miss him.

Sincerest Sympathies,

Rick, Kim, Keaton and Kiefer Kargus

Dear Hazel,
I am unable to be in Killaloe this weekend to come to Leo's funeral, but I want to extend my sympathy to you and your family. I will not forget the fun and friendship you both brought to Mom's life during your visits to her at home and at Water Tower Lodge and the support you both were to our family when she passed away. I will be thinking of you and praying for you during the coming days.
Katie's daughter,

Hello,

I never met Mr. Kargus, but had the pleasure of working with his Son, Gord, way back in 1983 when Gord was a Computer Contracter at CIDA. I could see a lot of the qualities mentioned about Mr. Kargus in the short time I worked with Gord. The hard work, dedication, the sense of Humour and the spiritual way Gord leads his life seem to be so much like his Fathers'. You have my deepest sympathies in Mr. Kargus passing but know that his legacy lives on.

David Greenly. (One of the "Animals" from our days as Co-Op Students at CIDA 1982-1983).
