How do I say goodbye Leo ...I am just finding out of your passing today 10/13/23. I went to your Facebook page to send you a message. I am devastated to hear of your passing . What a wonderful soul God has called home . We met in Nursing School and had a friendship that was so special. Although we haven´t seen each other in a long time, you always called to say hi , catch up and check up on me to make sure my kids and I were ok.
Last I spoke with you I was so so happy to hear you were with Joanne.
Oh Leo my heart hurts . I am so sorry I did not get to say until we meet again ..Rest in the Sweetest of Heavenly Peace. You were one of the sweetest most kindest men I have had the pleasure of calling my friend . Heartfelt prayers and condolences to Joanne, your family and friends .

I had the pleasure of working with Leo in the 61st precinct community policing unit. Leo was well respected by the community he served and by his peers as well. My fondest memories of Leo will be the time we spent at the Bishop Molloy police retreat house every year. I was so saddened to hear that he had passed Leo, my brother in blue, rest in peace.

So saddened to hear of Leo's passing. He was a special kind of person in so many ways. I worked with him for years in Hospice. He was truly someone who cared about others and ready to help if you needed it. He had a great sense of humor & always pleasant to be around. He will be truly missed by so many. My heart goes out to his family & loved ones and I will keep them in my prayers

Leo, you were always a class act. It was a pleasure working with you in Brooklyn South. I will always cherish the good times we had. Till we meet again my friend. We have lost a great person, but heaven has gained a loyal son.
