I am sad to hear of Leo's passing. So many days at SRM riding with him and working with him to continue track repairs and still letting Leo's train pass with no delay - Leo was superb to work with as well as talk with. I always knew that we could count on him faithfully to be there and help. He was responsible, professional, and a friend. I will miss him.

Leo was a kind and thoughtful person. I remember he often spoke about helping cook meals at his church. I always enjoyed seeing him at the Southeastern Railway Museum. May God comfort and bless his family.

I know Leo from the railway museum. He was a great guy.

You had to look past Leo's slightly-gruff exterior to see his heart of pure gold. He was the hardest-working guy at the train museum, even when he didn't feel well and was hurting. Though I am no longer working/volunteering at SRM, I know they miss him very day. I know I do, too...

Leo took me under his wing and taught me everything about working on the train crew at the Southeastern Railway Museum. He was an encyclopedia of train knowledge. He became a great friend. I'm glad I have these photos to remember the good times we had together. Dave
