Shirley,
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Red will be sadly missed by all of us that have been so lucky to have known him and considered him a friend. He always made a point to say hello and flash a smile to brighten one's day. Although old friends don't always stay in touch, It does not mean that they are out of mind. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am very sorry for your loss and wish to express my deepest sympathy. Leo was a childhood friend of mine. We went through school together and lived near each other. I have been gone from Mck. for most of my adult life but cherish the times with friends from the Village area.

I learned of Leo's passing and have a heavy heart. I worked with Leo at Bettis for about 15 years; it's a tribute to him that he was the kind of man that just made you feel good when you saw him. That classic smile and laugh, man, I'll miss that. The kind of guy that made friends with everyone, no matter what title or status, because he appealed to all. I hope that I am thought of, and will be remembered, the same way as my friend. God bless Leo and his entire family; rest assured, you will be in my prayers.

Dear Shirley,
I know as you read this that your heart is aching. But please know that Leo is in a better place where he will never have to suffer from pain again. You were a wonderful wife and friend to him and you went way beyond the call of duty. He will watch over you every day and keep you safe. Also, know that you have a support system when needed. Remember the good times and all those remarks & "jokes". Smile, he would want you to.

Our deepest sympathy for your loss. My husband, John, and I met Leo at the Youghview Lounge back in the '80s and have great memories of partying with him. John and I also worked at Bettis with him; but we honestly never saw that much of him at work. Our memories of our time with Leo were of happy, carefree, fun times for all of us--far away from the confines of our jobs! We are truly saddened by this news.

Dear Shirley, I will meet you tomorrow for the first time. Leo was best man for myself and Joe Vanio when we married in 1974. We hung out toghether, vacationed together and went downdtown Pittsburgh together after all four super bowl victories. I have many fond memories of Leo and will share some with you on Friday. He was a great friend to myself and to Joe and you have my deepest sympathies.
