Leo Yudien Obituary
Leo Yudien passed away Tuesday, September 27 at the age of 95. Leo was born in the Bronx, NY in 1923. After graduating from high school at the age of 16, he attended Baruch College in New York City. He went on to have a successful career as a CPA, and owned an accounting firm and payroll business in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Leo was a master bridge player, an avid fan of his beloved Denver Broncos, and a lifelong lover of theater and film. He will be remembered for his sharp intellect, ready wit, lively sense of humor, and the quickness with which he burst into song on any occasion. He is survived by his children, Alison Maslansky, Geoffrey Yudien, and Avery Yudien; grandchildren, Ian, Zachary, Michael, David, and Mikhail; son-in-law, Edward Maslansky, and daughter-in-law, Andrea Yudien. Donations in Leo's memory can be made to The National Brain Tumor Society.
He is survived by his loving children, Alison Maslansky and her husband Edward, Avery and his wife Andrea Yudien, and Geoffrey Yudien. Also surviving are his adored grandchildren Ian Schwartz, Zachary Schwartz, Michael Yudien, David Yudien, and Mikal Yudien, and his beloved niece Eileen Schwartz.
Funeral Services will be held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan NJ on Thursday September 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Marlboro, NJ.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society. 55 Chapel St. Newton, MA 02458.
The family will be sitting shiva at the Home of Alison Maslansky on Thursday, and Friday.
