My Mother and I were very sorry to hear about the passing of Pastor Grant. We would like to give our deepest and most sincere condolences to his Family and Friends. I remember him as a very kind soul. I remember being greeted with a smile and handshake as he waited at the rear of the church after service. I remember that Sunday hearing of Pastor Grant's passing. The cries and gasps told it all. My beloved Great Uncle Pete had just passed away as well and I remember thinking, "Wow two great and kind men no longer with us." I tell you, that was very sad. My Mother remembers singing in the choir with Pastor Grant. Pastor will be truly missed and everytime I leave the church, I'll remember the smile and handshake from the kind man we all know as Pastor Leon Grant. You'll be missed. Have a peaceful rest Pastor, Lamonte Williams and RosaLeigh Williams.

Dear Sis. Adranna and the entire Grant and Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Families, it is with deepest sympathy that I extend my prayers and condolence on the passing of our beloved Pastor-Emeritus, Leon Grant. May you be comforted and strengthened in this time of bereavement; and, "let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, keep your hearts and minds, through Christ Jesus" (Phil 4:7). With much love, Sis. Danita Johnson (former Mt. Calvary--Intercessory Prayer Leader).

A true giant in the religious community has been put to sleep until JESUS comes. What a great loss! He truly valued the talents of senior citizens. He made everybody feel so special at all times. His smile was contagious. Adranna, hold your head high because you were there through the good and bad. It was an honor to serve with him for two years in the Music Department of Mount Calvary. Adranna, just remember that you and Leon are to meet me at the Northgate of the Holy City for a musical reunion. It wont be long. This world cannot possibly last much longer. The end time prophecies outlined in the Liberty of Conscience Threatened Chapter In The Great Controversy by Ellen White are being fulfilled before our eyes.

As Reverend Grant would say: Hold on to Gods Unchanging Hand.
