Leon Hackenberg Obituary
Jim proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Okinawa. Following his military service, he built a career in the transportation industry and later became a small business owner until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Janie; his sons, Jimmy and Gary; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local VA in Jim's honor.

Jimmy, Gary, and Janie, I am so saddened to hear of Jim´s passing. I haven´t seen him in several years, but I often recall the years of our friendship spent playing golf, enjoying the house at Badin Lake, and fighting crime in High Point. If you have a service remembering him, I would be honored to be there.
