WOW! I can't believe we lost our great "BUD" that long ago to him now with the Lord! My dad took me to see him play while visiting out of CT but we FOLLOWED his great act from very early on and my collection of his music can attest to it & how YOUNG he looked on that first album cover. I still shed tears over how we lost this man. Lots of "IF ONLY'S"! His music/talent/"BUD" will always echo within my walls. God bless all of you he was part of!

My family and I express our deepest sympathy to the entire HUNDENSKI clan. I had no idea we lost our BUD. I was on the net searching out more music of his to buy and add to my collection and stumbled on the sad news of a year ago. His face on an album jacket from 1971 shows a strong person who for more than the next 40 years made so many of us so happy. I somehow felt BUD would be with us forever. He will be for me. I love him and never met him but heard (and will always hear) every beat he created and performed. God bless BUD and all of you left behind. Words cannot express how sad I am over losing him.

Dear Mrs. Hundenski and family,
My husband and I are sorry for your loss. In 1982, Bud and the Corsairs played for our wedding reception in Carnegie, PA, and our first dance was a 20 minute polka! All of our guests enjoyed the lively music and friendliness of the band, and we will long remember how he helped make the day special for us. Though we did not make our home in the Pittsburgh area, polka fans around the country always spoke highly of Bud and his band.
We pray that God will comfort you during this time through the love and care of many friends.

Dear Barb, Eric, and Jill,
I know that Bud has been through a lot of suffering in the past year and a half. I am sorry to hear of his passing but have faith that he is in heaven now and adding to the music and happiness there that he has provided here on earth. His passing will leave an emptiness on earth for all who knew him. My deepest condolences to all the members of your family.

I am a classmate of Leon's from Montour; I remember his smile. His blurb in the yearbook was: "a good looking fellow with fasinating dimples..a true gentleman in every way..cuts a striking figure on ice..delighted us with his accordian".May you and your family find peace in your special memories. With sincere sympathy, Carolyn Paczan Martorella
