Leon and Sylvia Spruell

I just learned today of the death of my cousin Sylvia and her husband; it is a sad day for all. My thoughts are with all the family.

I worked for Sylvia many years ago, and she was a wonderful person and boss. I often think of my "old friends" at Brice Building Company. It was a wonderful place to work, and wonderful people to work with. I am so sorry for your loss Leigh, I met you when you were just a child. Will pray for all of you and your family

So sorry for the loss, my father found some address labels from the Spruell Family, in his yard all the way IN Hanceville about 10 miles from Cullman.As I did a quick search on the internet I am deeply devastated as to what I have found. Prayers be with you.

We are so sorry for your loss. My wife found at our farm 3 miles north of Blountsville, AL a piece of a bank statement from Jan 25, 2006 that had Sylvia and Leon Spruell names and a Birmingham PO Box. I was just seraching the internet to get the info back to the owners. Our prayers are with your family and their friends.

Sylvia was a friend and classmate of the class of 1959 at Savona Central School of Savona, New York. We will all miss you but I was so glad to see you and Leon 2 years ago while you were here.

I am very sorry for your losses. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing either one of them, but would have love too. I am writing to the family and friends of this couple. Please keep their life close to you and they shall live on forevery. The family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Leigh, you're strong. You've been through so much, and it just makes me believe you have a huge purpose in your life. I WILL be praying for you.

I did not know Mr. and Mrs. Spruell but wanted to convey my sympathies to their family. I pray for comfort and healing in the weeks and months to come.

Leigh I am so very sorry for your lose. There is so much damage through out the state of Alabama, and so many families losing their families. My heart goes out to all of them. Losing your Mother and Father at one time I can not imagine the hurt. Me and Kelly both have lost our parents, and from some the comments I have seen, I am sure they are all in heaven having a great time together. If there is anything I can do, or if you just need to talk, please know I am here for you.

Leigh, I know how hard it is to lose both of your parents. If there is anything I can do please call. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

My heart is broken. I do take comfort in knowing that My precious Aunt Sylvia and Uncle Leon are singing with the Angels. I will truly miss them. I will always be able to hear (in my heart) Uncle Leon everytime I saw him say "well hey there Pom Pom (Pam Pam)".

Leigh, my heart breaks as I try to put together words of comfort. Many of my earliest memories include your family and our little houses on Lovick Road. Your parents were very sweet people and will truly be missed. I am here if you need me.

Leigh Leigh, My heart breaks for you and your children. Uncle Leon and Aunt Sylvia were always so genuine. Years would pass and everytime I seen them, both of them were all smiles like no time had passed. Gosh this world has lost two of the sweetest souls, but heaven has gained them.

Losing someone close is tough, losing a family member is devastating, but losing 2 at the same time is impossible to put in words. Uncle Leon and Aunt Sylvia took care of me and my crew like we were their own daughter. You can't imagine the loss until you have to face it head on. They were a blessing to everyone they came in contact with and never met a stranger. They did more for me than anyone will ever know. I will miss you in my heart and never forget the days you were with us, but knowing you are in heaven with God helps ease the pain. We love you and miss you both.

Uncle Leon and Aunt Sylvie will be missed. I only had the pleasure of meeting them both one time but in that one time they grew to hold a place in my heart. May God bless the family and friends who are left to pick up and carry on and may God greet them both with open arms and a "Well done my Good and faithful Servants".

Leon / Sylvia will be missed, I was blessed to know them through my parents (Bobby & Kay Herren). Sylvia would bring Leon to my dads place Herrens Auto to get parts for cars Leon was workiing on. I worked with Sylvia for over 15 years. Sylvia was my mentor and our work relationship grew into a wonderful friendship. Sylvia was a strong and caring woman who always had time for you no matter what. Above all, Sylvia loved her family. My heart is broken knowing she is gone and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family.

I had the pleasure of working with Sylvia. It broke my heart when I heard the news. Sylvia had an exterior of steel and a heart of gold. She was someone I looked up to. The world lost two amazing people April 27th. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.
