In memory of
Nancy Benoit-Woloschuk

So sorry to hear of Aunt Leonas passing. I was just talking to a friend about how inspiring she was to me as an advocate of peace. I have many correspondencs from her thru the years encouraging my work with battered women. She was a great pen pal and inspiring role model. I wish my mum and dad had stayed in touch with her and Uncle Joe. Deepest sympathy sent from Uncle Jim's daughters and family.

Aunt Leona was the most caring and persistent person I've known. Back when it wasn't much accepted for a woman to express a strong opinion, she showed me how to do so with grace and perseverance. I will miss her and her plucky personality. Go forth in love and peace, Leona.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of such a wonderful lady. We have fond memories of lunches at the Copley with her and Bro. She would say...I am not here to die, just to live the rest of my life! She was a gift to everyone she knew and will be missed.
