LEONARD S. ABES

Just read of Len's passing and want to extend our deepest sympathy to all the Abes family. He was an intregal part of the Butler community during our years in Butler. May his memory ease the pain of your loss.

Leonard was a very special man.I just heard of this last evening or I would have come .He loved his wife and family very much .What a legend.

Anyone who spent time with Leonard knew what a great man he was. He touched many people with his uplifting personality, he will be missed.

Leonard was truly one of my most favorite people. I loved talking to him...always looked forward to his wit and his wisdom. This world just won't be the same without him.

I want to extend my sympathy to the family of Leonard Abes. I remember him from my youth as an active member of Congregation B'Nai Abraham. He was part of that "greatest generation" who served their country, raised their family, and contributed to their community. We are all enriched by the ethical manner in which they conducted themselves and the role models that they provided to the youth of Butler. I feel privileged to have been a beneficiary of that community and I am grateful to Mr. Abes and all of the dedicated congregation members that built this legacy.
