Leonard Canora Obituary
Born in Hartford, CT, Leonard was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Phyllis (Ficocello) Canora.
Leonard was married to the love of his life, Judi Canora, for 58 wonderful years. He cherished their marriage and kept their wedding picture as his screensaver to remind himself daily of how blessed he was.
A devout Catholic, Leonard lived his life centered around his family and faith. Known for his love of good food and his appreciation for life's simple pleasures, Leonard brought joy to everyone around him with his infectious positivity and cheerful disposition.
Leonard was a dedicated fan of the New York Yankees, supporting his team for an impressive 75 years. He also enjoyed savoring a fine cognac in the company of his closest friends and family, creating cherished memories that will be fondly remembered.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his three children, Joseph T. Canora, Mary Layne, and Tammi Kiss. Leonard was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and a great-grandfather to one great-grandson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 16th, between the hours of 6pm to 8pm at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, CT, 06095. A Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 17th, at 10am at St. Catherine's Church at 6 Windsorville, Rd. Broad Brook, CT 06016.
Leonard's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered support and condolences during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
