FALMOUTH — Leonard Goldstein, of Falmouth, and Delray Beach, Fla., died peacefully on Aug. 26, 2008. He was the beloved husband of Bernice (Lubets) Goldstein for 58 years.

He was the devoted father of Edward of Wayne, Pa., Laura and her husband, Michael Devine of Portsmouth, R.I., and James and his wife, Nancy of Needham; and the loving grandfather of Zachary Devine, and Allie and Jake Goldstein, and step-grandfather of Mary Devine. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Ethel Goldstein of Winthrop, and brother of Marvin and his wife, Francine of Aliso Viejo, Calif.

He is also survived by sister-in-law and brother-in-law Eleanor and Milton Ross and several nephews. Len spent his entire professional career with the General Electric Co., including many years in Japan.

The funeral will be private for the family. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at his Falmouth residence on Monday, Sept. 1, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. For directions and online guest book, please visit ccgfuneralhome.com

I was so sorry to hear of Lenny's passing. We go back so many years in Winthrop. I was with you and Len the day I met my husband, Herb, who, too, has passed away. My thoughts are with you and your family.
