Another year without the great one. Miss your hard-hitting style that no one else can duplicate. Just saw some YouTube of original Y&T and it brought tears to my eyes. Hope your hitting hard in heaven.

Memories of Leonard are abundant here in Lake County! I see so many Y&T T shirts on people. I talk to every fan and Leonard’s name always comes up first. So good to see his legacy live on.

Leonard, I was in such denial when I heard. I was so angry, that the tears didn't come...until 6 months later, when Joey left us. You were so kind when you came to sit with my mom and visit with her, as you both shared the same disease. It was a kindness I will always cherish. With you Joey and Phil gone, there is this unexplainable emptiness and deep void in the world. God Bless you for sharing your talent with all of us, who know how very special you have always been.

A very inspiring and unique man. I had the privilege to meet and have a great conversation with Leonard at The Independent in San Francisco 06. As a native Oklahoma boy we recalled him playing at the historic Cain's ballroom in Tulsa. As a fan I could never have been more happy to meet someone so cool and down to earth. Leonard sent me back to Oklahoma with an autographed drum skin which I display proudly! It was an honor and I will forever be grateful for the visit I had and the music which will live within me! A dream come true when i seen him sit in at the Filmore! Thank you Leonard and God Bless !

Leonard was a true Rock & Roller man, he was the Epitome of a tortured musician who never stopped the wild life til the last breath.
We spoke last year about his new project, and I was honored to be asked to sing on it. My schedule was simply to full and I was told by Leonard that "I" was simply to busy for him. We had some great times together and some that were tough. But I love him, always did always will.

RIP Leonard. Many fun memories of parties, jam nights and some crazy times in the back rooms of the Bay Area music scene. You were very forgiving and had a great sense of humor when you heard my band do one of your covers. You will be missed but your legacy will live forever.

Mr Haze, as I would call him. Great Drummer and even greater human being. Such a humble and kind friend. I met Leonard at a Namm show by literally running into him. I bump into a fella while in a hurry and look up and it's him!!!! Leonard Haze, the man himself.. He was great. Next thing I know I had him playing Peace Drums.. I went from watching and studying him while I was just starting out on drums to talking to him on the phone about music, drums and life while he endorsed my drum company.. Rest in Peace my dear friend and teacher.. I will always cherish our talks and be grateful for your kind heart.

...Meant Leonard Haze at a Zep show in Oakland Coliseum Arena way back sometime between 1970 & 72 don't remember exactly, didn't know him before that, but was somehow standing next to him on ground floor next to stage watching Bonzo and we just started talking shop,
He told me he was starting or was already in a band, can't remember if he said it was called Yesterday & Today yet or not, but I think he did, again don't remember exactly was a long time ago, anyway, next thing ...

Leonard, it's been a while...yet the memories flooded back when I heard and there are just too many!
I can't forget the night you played with Ronnie Montrose for that benefit in Dublin, it was awesome. Backstage at the Avalon, the Mystic, my house...us all going to Maestros when you were out of the band, and you got all the attention...
I was happy to see you back in Y&T, even if it was short...it was still fun!
I'm glad you found Kelly and were happy.
Brett will find you to give you the tour up there!
My condolences to your family.

Add your message here.Ok Leonard, This was not part of the game plan.I knew this day would come, but we had plans & un-finished biz Bro! Thank you for over 3 decades of friendship, love of music, sports, Guitars& Amps, LAUGHTER and now selfishly, a broken heart AND mind! This is gonna be longer than a standing 8 count for me and many others. The countless memories & story sharing, along w/ all that great music will be the healing factor in keeping your legacy alive forever! I cherrish-ed our time together @ the Fillmore and SO looked foward to the Mystic, as we ALL did... Now my focus is makin' it down by the 29th. DUDE! We were suppo- sed to talk & catch up before Monday Night Football...I had my "Leonard List" ready...... Gallons of tears & mini-mal sleep over the past 10 days & the pain of denial is still so heavy! See you again someday @ the end of my road, *Your Oregon Brother*
