Leonard became my daughter's father in law seventeen years ago and I had the pleasure of being with him at many family gatherings. We also enjoyed the occasional game of golf which usually included a relaxed dinner when we would reminisce about our life experiences since we were born on the same date,Feb.14,1929.If I failed to call he would remember to call birthday greetings. He would always manage to laugh at my poorly told jokes.
Shortly after meeting him I became his patient and he encouraged me to exercise and prepare for voluntary heart surgery which proved to be most successful for which I shall always be most greatful.
He dearly loved his family and was proud of every one of them which was obvious when you enterred his office and observed their pictures prominently displayed
He will be greatly missed by Anna and I and we extend our sincere condolences to Connie and family.

We will miss his contagious smile and wonderful demeanor. His love for life was visible every time we saw him. We will never forget the LeRioux Cup events and enjoying cocktails with Pit. Rest in peace dear friend.

Leo (AKA "Pit") lived a wonderful, long, happy, and healthy life. He will live on through all of you, who he connected with in a positive manner. My Dad's passing is a reminder that we need to take time with those we love, do the things that inspire us, and connect with people in a manner that changes them positively; as our time here is limited. He accomplished all of this and more. Gone but never forgotten - Love You
