LEONARD LICATA Obituary

LEONARD LICATA Leonard Licata, 76, of Blue Springs, MO, died Wednesday, August 30, 2017, after a long illness. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at Mt. Olivet, Raytown, MO. Visitation will follow from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the family home in Lee's Summit, MO. Suggested memorial contributions may be made to any No Kill Animal Shelter or other charity of your choice. Leonard was born to Sam and Fay Licata, who preceded him in death, as well as a sister Dianna Baldwin. He was an electrician by trade and owned and operated Heart Mobile Village and Heart Auto Sales for many years. Survivors include his wife, Vicki Licata of the home; three children: David Licata (Maria), Andrew Licata, and Lisa Pfaff (Chris); two step-children Debra Henry (Robert) and Timothy Daniels; sister Tina Monaco; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. I think of you more than I ever imagined. You have Andrea up there with you now and I miss her everyday. We had so much fun in the mountains horse back riding & looking for Andy all up and down the Las Vegas strip. So much laughter. Thank you for the memories my friend

Leonard with a great person and a great friend to my parents that lived in Independence. You couldn't help but like Leonard when you met him and he will be missed greatly.
