Leonard Tomas Mazzotti

Leonard Tomas Mazzotti was born on April 3, 1956 to Clyde and Martha Mazzotti in Glendale, California and Died on July 13, 2024 in Big Bear City, California.

Lenny grew up in Whittier, California with his older sibling, Tony Mazzotti.

Lenny lived a life built around his family's restaurant and he played an integral role in much of the public success of his restaurants in both Northern and Southern California. Lenny's natural ability to make Italian food 'fun' by tying Rock n Roll and calzones and surf culture together made him a local celebrity anywhere he served his Brand of Mazzottis Culture.

Lenny started a family at the age of 17 with his first wife, Nina Hoke. With Nina, Lenny had his Son, Mylon and Daughter, Marina. Lenny and Nina played important roles in the HB business community with both, Mazzottis and Diamond Lane being 26 year businesses. His business acumen took him further as he worked on larger projects at Vanderbilt University and fundraisers such as FishAid. Lenny was a gifted musician in his own right and spent as much time as he could listening to, attending events, and playing and composing his own music. Marina, his daughter, compares his voice as a 'cross between Dylan, and Henley.' He is most remembered in recent years for his long, thoughtful messages, letters, emails, songs and poems. His Grandson, Nathan Mazzotti, describes Lenny as his "best friend."

Lenny also has two sons with Denise Fournier. Anthony Mazzotti and Lenny Jr. Lenny is loved by many and he is surely missed by his family. In the past decade, Lenny was on the road writing music and meeting new people with his Wife, Nooshin and Dog, Mazzy. Lenny loved his 10 grand kids and spoke of them often. Gaetano, Nathan, Eva, Sophia, Anika, Isaiah, Jacob, Samuel, Kaia, Gracie, you are forever Loved by Grandpa!
