Dear Aunt Sally, Sharon, Colleen, Brian and family –

Uncle Leonard was one in a million; I have many fond memories of him. His unique sense of humor always made me smile, especially when he laughed at himself. I admired his ability to stay connected - a characteristic he shared with my father and passed down to his children. Our hearts are heavy with the grief of his passing, yet we find comfort in knowing he was welcomed into his heavenly home by our Lord and family and friends who preceded him in eternal life. You’re in our thoughts and prayers.

Please take comfort Aunt Sally, Sharon,Colleen,Brian and gang that your husband and father was the type of man that brought love and comfort and a true sense of family to our family while we were growing up and even now. He was truly a gift to this world and I can only pray that our children have learned as many valuable lessons as we have about family, and caring for them in big and small ways. My prayer for you all is that you gain comfort in knowing that you all have many of those same qualities and his memory carries on in you. We love you. God Bless. Mr. Norton made me laugh so hard one New Year's Eve when I was about 10. He called our house looking for Sharon, and when I answered, he said: "Hello Moira! Got any plans for tonight? You going out to tie one on?" It was such grown-up talk and I was a little girl and I laughed my head off; he laughed too. We laughed about "tying one on" any time I saw him after that. The memory makes me smile now.
I wish you all bon courage.

Memory drifts to scenes long past,
Time roles on, but memories last;
Sunshine passes, shadows fall,
Love's remembrance outlasts all.

My thoughts are with you all.

Sally, Sharon, Colleen and Brian:
Leonard was a very caring person and the whole Grady family will miss him greatly. May your saddened hearts find comfort, at least in some small way knowing the thoughts of others are close to you to-day.
