I just saw an man riding his tricycle down Irving Park yesterday. It reminded me of your kindness, placing flowers at headstones that didn't have them. Just like the treats you would leave Julia, who's now going to be 13. I know she would love helping you around the house, if she had had the chance.

Over a year has passed by, I still expect to step out of the front door and see you sitting on the front steps enjoying the weather, waving hello.
You would leave gifts for my little Julia on our steps every so often. A small gesture but I knew how hard it was for you to get across the street, let alone up the steps. That is what meant so much and I hope you know that.
