Dear Richard, David, Andrew and Steven,
It is with a still heavy heart that I continue to mourn the passing of "My Uncle Leonard." From the first time I met him and all the times since, he was always so delightful to talk with and to learn from. And, from the first time, also, he asked me to call him "Uncle Leonard." I am so grateful for having had him in my life these past dozen years or so. May he continue to shine down on all of us so we may continue to reap his blessings, knowledge and love. to all the sholes family, my uncle leonard will be always in my heart. he was always there when we needed advice, he was a father figure to fred and myself , we loved him dearly and will surely miss him ..we are a close caring family with our cousins richard david andrew and steven and their families .uncle leonard was very fortunate to have such a wonderful caring family to be there when he needed them , we will always have wonderful memories of all the good times we all had growing up. with love leonard and fred devoted nephews

David and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I am positive that he passed on all that was good in him to you and his younger generations. I can not imagine the changes your Dad saw in his 100 plus years of life: war, technology, automation, economics, education, and moral values, etc. Just too many to fathom. I know he imparted a great deal of knowledge, charity and respect to all of you. And when you reflect back, these will fondly recalled as "Sholeisms". During these most difficult of times, lean on your family, friends, and faith for support. Our sincere condolences.
