One week before he passed. Still smiling!

To my extraordinary Uncle Leonard, I miss you, I love you. I always have... so much!!! Until we meet again, I will cherish the memories and the joy you brought into my life. It won't be the same without you here... and like with my deceased parents, I will miss not being able to talk to you or see you until my mortality has ended. But, in your passing, your family members, including myself, have made new and stronger connections. Through the void we feel, I know you are feeling joy and relief... and for the rest of us, the experience has brought us all closer. We can always spin things into positives, and I know that it's strange to say that you've indirectly facilitated that. Though there are always bumps in the road, it all works out in the end. Amazing: life, and eternal progression. To those who read this, know that he was the most giving, loving, generous, and caring person to those who were in need. One-of-a-kind. I can't believe he's gone. I look forward to that great reunion when this life is over and all we all meet again. (Heidi Livsey, my mother was his sister, who with my father, passed many years ago. He was there for me every day during the 4 1/2 months I was in the hospital after that happened, and though he had just lost his sister, he made me smile and laugh. Like I stated in the beginning, an extraordinary man!))

I worked with Leonard at Western Garden Centers in Salt Lake. He was a patient stern teacher and he was respected among customers, employees and owners of the business. Leonard was a good man.-Ben Hall
