Spearing Family: I can not tell you how sorry I am to hear of Len's passing. I grew up with him in St Agatha's parish in West Philly and was a classmate at St Thomas More High School. I would see him every year at our Communion Mass; and at our class reunions What a great sense of humor he had. And what a strong; good ; friend to have. He was a man who would not take any guff from anyone I am proud to say that he was my friend. There is an old Irish saying: "Death brings a heartache that no one can heal; Love brings memories that no one can steal" Lenny was much loved. Jack Poppert

My sympathies to the Spearing family. I worked with Len at Bell Telephone back in the middle 1970's. Baldwin Service Center. Len always had us laughing. His outgoing and fun personality made my initial years with the Telephone Company extremely enjoyable. What a great guy! God bless.
