Leonard E. Stehr

Mr. Stehr was my 7th grade math teacher in 1974 at Richfield West Junior High. I remember him asking what I wanted to do when I grew up. I told him I was going to be a U.S. Marine...he smiled, put his hand on my shoulder and told me I would make a good one. I retired a U.S. Marine Sergeant Major in 2002 and will always remember his words of encouragement. God bless you.

Our hearts go out to the family. Bud and I were both students of Leonard's in the late 40's. He was an amazing, devoted teacher and mentor. We feel we were honored to have known him.
