LEROY FILIP Obituary
He had lived in Victoria since 1957. Mr. Filip married his wife, Dorothy Mae Kulow on Aug. 31, 1963 in Victoria. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Michael Filip of Victoria; daughter, Cheryl Filip Hernandez and her husband Juan C. Hernandez of Victoria; sister, Edna Allen of Austin; brother, Ello Filip of Gonzalez; three grandsons, James, Jaydon and Jared Hernandez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Oscar Lee Filip, and a sister, Viola Mae Filip.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at Grace Lutheran Church, Rev. Marcus Mueller officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery with military honors under the Auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council.
Serving as pallbearers are Charles Kulow, Michael Sarlls, Randy Sarlls, George Harrington, Paul Teinert, and Mac McKenzie.
