SANGERVILLE - Leslie E. Andrews, 79, died Feb. 27, 2012, at Hibbard Nursing Home, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born Dec. 20, 1932, in Guilford, son of James and Dianna (Ducette) Andrews. Les attended Guilford schools, and owned and operated Les' Garage, Sangerville for many years. He was a 50-year member of Mount Kineo Masonic Lodge, Guilford, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his best friend and love, Minetta Brown of Sangerville; two daughters, Rosely Smith and her husband, Stewart, of Monson, and Nancy Cambridge of Dover-Foxcroft; sister, Patricia McPhetres and her husband, Paul, of Sangerville; three grandchildren, Jason Smith of Monson, Johnnie’é Cambridge of New York and Christina Cambridge of Vermont; three great-grandchildren, Broc, Damean and Jarrett Smith, all of Monson; former son-in-law, James Cambridge and his wife, Ruth, of Old Town; three close friends that he considered his sons, David Leland of Sangerville, Robert Fortier of Sangerville and Baxter Stone of Guilford; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Estelle (Easler) Andrews, in 1993; sister, Dolores Hunt, in 2010; and great-granddaughter, Bridget Burke, in 2000. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday conducted by the members of Mount Kineo Masonic Lodge. A graveside committal service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, at Knowlton Mills Cemetery, Sangerville. Les is remembered with lots of fond memories. Him and Dad being such good friends gave us plenty fo fun times spent with him. God Bless you all!

I will miss you very much Uncle Les. You were my favorite uncle and I loved hanging at the garage with you, Dad and all the other guys when I was little. I have many fond memories of all the times we spent together while I was growing up. I still remember our family vacation at Spencer Camps 40+ years ago.
