Leslie Warren Bowman Sr.

Leslie Warren Bowman, aged 66, passed away on October 2, 2024, in Memphis, Tennessee. Born on August 12, 1958, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Leslie lived a life marked by dedication, passion, and love for his family and interests.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Leslie was known for his unparalleled work ethic and dependability. His career spanned over three decades at FedEx and MCR Safety, where he was not just a colleague but a mentor who led by example. Even toward the end of his career, Leslie joked about retiring only to start a landscaping company as a hobby, showcasing his tireless spirit and love for staying active.

Leslie's enthusiasm wasn't confined to his professional life. He was a die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Lakers, often found cheering loudly from his theater-style man cave. His commitment to his teams was as steadfast as his commitment to every endeavor he undertook.

Beyond his professional and sporting passions, Leslie cherished traveling with his wife, with whom he planned to spend part of his retirement in Europe. His grandchildren brought immense joy and pride to his life, enriching his days with their presence and achievements.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marie Bowman, and his sisters, Sandy and Margaret Bowman. He is survived by his loving wife Denice Graves Bowman, and beautiful family of Children (Leslie Jr, Victoria, Jasper, Brandy, Fred, Cassandra, Rhonda, April, Tony, Raven, Josh & Jaden). Siblings (Charles Sr, Bobby, Albert & Wanda). And an ever-growing number of Grandchildren & Great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 16th, 2024, at Cedar Hall, 3712 Broadway Road, Memphis, Tennessee, from 3 PM to 6 PM. Leslie's life and legacy will be honored in this gathering of family, friends, and those whose lives he touched.

Leslie Bowman's legacy of love, laughter, and leadership will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his influence will continue to be felt far beyond his passing.
