Leslie was a force to be reckoned with. A Boss in every sense of the word. No nonsense with a giving heart and spirt. I had the pleasure or working with her many years ago, I'd recently shared on our last text, that her company Housewares, at the time was the blessing, I didn't know I needed, we became Friends and it was a pleasure to work with and learn from her. She was so wise. She had a gift and passion for teaching and sharing her knowledge. She was a blessing to my church, hired several members and became part of our Family. There was never a time she said NO when I needed anything. She took great care of all her employees, we had some good times. I've known her for over 35 years. We didn't talk much in the later years, we texted off and on, kept it short and sweet. My fondest memories are when we hung out with my late husband, great dinners and the Family oriented Office Parties, it was all about Family and the Fun my kids had when they went to her Halloween Party as kids. It was an honor to know Mrs. Dubin...There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts" - Mahatma Gandhi...Peaceful be your sleep, as lovely memories we keep

My sister Deborah worked for Leslie. Leslie became apart of our church family, Good New Community Church. She blessed our ministry in many ways, hiring members from our church, dinner at her home and priceless conversations. Leslie was giving and compassion about others. It was a honor to know Leslie. Rest in Paradise. Tammie

I and other students will always remember Leslie as the AMAZING teacher she was. As her obituary says, Leslie had both an amazing passion for academia and a truly loving, open and wonderful commitment to us, her students. I took a business management course she taught back in 2017 and I will always remember how encouraging and supportive she was to everyone in the class. Leslie always approached everyone she met with a happy openness you don't often see. She was wonderful to get to know and would befriend anyone who was open to a genuine intellectual exchange. Leslie's love for life was evident in her teaching as it was anytime I would see her in our chance meetings on one of our campuses. We will miss Leslie forever. For our teacher, our friend.

I never had the chance to meet Leslie in person, but we spoke on the phone a number of times. She had a great sense of humor and always left me smiling. I will definitely miss talking with her; she was someone who could light up your life just by her voice! I'm glad her struggles are over now and that she's resting in peace. Tankhumaai,

Leslie always had a smile on her face and a story to tell. Even in this ongoing battle against cancer, she always had a positive attitude that was inspiring (to say the least). I will greatly miss speaking with her.

I remember Leslie and the family (kids) gathering in the basement of my parents home for Chanukah parties while the parents were upstairs leaving us to bring out every toy! We were young and had no clue of the mess we made of things. Leslie fought the good fight. May her life be for a blessing.

I have fond memories of fun sleepovers and a Hanukah party at their South Side apartment. May Leslie“s memory be for a blessing.
