Rockbridge - Leslie "Hatch" G. Forst, age 85, of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away May 16, 2025, at Buckeye Care and Rehab in Lancaster, Ohio.

Hatch was born November 27, 1939, in Groveport, Ohio to Frank and Irene Forst. Hatch was such an unique, caring, and hardworking man. He always had a good sense of humor and enjoyed "pulling your leg." Hatch also was never a stranger to enjoyning a cold one with friends. He never knew a stranger and will be deeply missed by all those that loved him.

Surviving are his daughter, Sherry Forst; step-children, Sherry Hettinger, Loretta (Jeremy) Schein, Jesse (Bobbie) Hamilton, and Teresa (Wayne) Armstrong; step-grandchildren, Shaniqua, Megan, Mariah, Loreli, Lane, Landen, Connor, Scarlet, Kayden, Regan, and Lincoln; numerous nieces and nephews including Valerie Arnett, Regina Schooley, Rita Weaver, Loraine Ortiz, and Diane Wagner; and special close friends, Angela Layne, David (Britney, Rylee, Mason, Zac, and Jaxson) Thomas Jr, Bobbie (Abigail, Natalie, and Levi) Thomas, Robert Morse, James logan, David Thomas Sr, Kenneth Drumm, Randy Chavalier, Charlie, Yvonne Wood, Pam Hart, Glen Roop, Anne Covert, and so many others.

Hatch was preceded in death by his significant other, Nellie Hamilton; parents; brother, David Leon Forst; sisters, Jean Frances Cobbs and Margaret Rose Carpenter; nephew, Danny Cobbs; niece, Laurie Emerson; and special friends, James (Lacy) Scott and Jovita Marolt.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio with Dr. Rev. Randy Hardman officiating.

Calling hours will be observed prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the funeral home.
