Dear Sandra and family,
I was so sorry to hear only today about Les. He was a wonderful man. We had soooo many laughs together. I will miss his smile and his jokes.
My prayers are with you all.

Leslie, when we last talked, God was not ready to take you home but you were ready and anxious for the journey, we joked and you slapped your knee with a laugh, we've had a long and cherished friendship with both you and Sandara, you told me that we'll not know each other in heaven it will be one big family, but I know, You will stand out. Our love and prayers have been with you over this long struggle, now you are home, we are happy for you. We will meet again one day, so slap your knee and give a laugh, we'll know you.

To Sandra and family, I offer my deepest sympathies. I will always think of Les as a special man, someone who was able to perk up people, to make us laugh when we were all so tired during these long hours of work in Hansard. I am glad to have been able to work with such a competent person. May you rest in peace, Les, and have fun while waiting for us all.

Dear Sandra, Tony and family;
Although the sorrow felt at such a time is not eased by words, I wanted to say that I am very sorry to hear of your loss and that my thoughts and prayers are with you. And even though it has been many, years and to me it was always Mr. & Mrs. Lusk, the vivid memory I hold of your family is one of caring, sensitivity and good natured humour. I thank you for those memories and once again express my condolences. Sincerely, Tracy Andison - Boileau.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Sandra. I have often thought of Les during the years since I retired and moved back west. Les was a good reporter, a great colleague and a fine gentleman and will be missed by many.

There may be sad hearts on Earth, but there must be great music and crazy laughter in Heaven tonight.

Dearest Les: I write this letter with a broken heart. Seems like we've been friends forever. Our circle of friends has been broken. Thank you for lots of great times together and a lot of good memories. I have prayed for you and again it was answered, our Lord Jesus has taken you home. Knowing you, your first words were "Hi Lord, my name is Les Lusk. Happy to see you." I know that our circle will be brought together one day when we will join you in heaven. Until that time, I will think of you often and see your face and your smile. Sandra, Allison & Anthony, your Leslie, your Dad, will look down and be with you always. Sincerly Shirley.

Farewell, Les. You were one of a kind. I'll never forget the laughs we shared while we worked together in Hansard. I've not laughed so hard since! Condolences to Sandra and the family. Les will be missed by all.

Farewell, Les, to a life well lived. Those five years sharing an office with you, Brian and Irene at Hansard were the happiest of my life. The work was hard, but the laughs were plentiful, thanks to you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Sandra. May God give you strength.
As ever, Sue
