I served as Leslie's organist for 5 years at The Church of the Good Shepherd after I retired as minister of the Houlton Congregational Church. We shared much about theology and our love for knitting.
She was a wonderful clergy peer and friend. We were also Facebook friends.

I am so sorry to learn of Leslie's passing. Although in recent years, I did not have contact with Leslie very often, I will miss her.
I have many fond memories of much time we spent together visiting, hiking, playing games. We were ordained together as deacons at St. James Church. I was her deacon when she was ordained a priest.

Dear Sarah, Mike, Pearl, and Leslie's extended family:
I am saddened to hear of "Aunt Leslie's" passing. She was a dear, sweet, kindhearted woman, and I enjoyed chatting with her when she visited your home. She was always very accepting of everyone whom she encountered and led a very interesting and full life.
My deepest condolences. Sending much love
Mel
