Dear Jerry and Jan
I knew you when you were small children when your Dad and Mother and my wife and I would get together from time to time.
I had the privilege of working with him all the time we worked in the accounting department at Stockton,Whatley,Davin & Company. Later we had lunch from time to time.He called me two years ago when my wife passed away and sent a memorial to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida in her memory. I will honor his memory by doing the same.I never had a finer friend.

Jan & family, I was so sorry to read of your father's passing in the paper today. I know he's with the Lord & with your Mom, but I know what it's like to lose a Dad. It's hard. Your parents were the dearest of friends to my friends, Janet & Fred Knight. I knew them "through" the Knights & loved & respected them both greatly. Jan, your lifelong (literaly!) friend, Cindy has been one of my dearest friends for over 25 years now. You wouldn't believe how often you & your folks come up in our conversations. I even got to follow your job advancements over the years. We had been praying for your Dad for a long time now & we got weekly updates on him at church, so he was a part of our lives, too. I knew your Mom & think she was an angel, just as Janet & all those who knew her thought. I remember visiting with your Dad on our recent wedding & anniversary parties (for the Knight girls) He will be missed by us all. What a blessed woman you are to have had such wonderful Christian parents. Bless you, Amelia Gaillard (don't know if you'd remember me, we've met on lots of occasions over the years, & by the way I'd appreciate your prayers for my father-in-law who has had Lou Gehrig's for well over 8 years now, thanks, Amelia G)
