Leslie Stallworth Obituary
Mr. Leslie Lee Stallworth, Jr., age 37, a native of Gulfport, died August 28, 2007 at Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Stallworth was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church, Gulfport. He graduated from Harrison Central High School and had a Cosmetology degree from Chris' Beauty College. He was a member of GMWA and Youth Leader board member, Gospel Music Worship of America. Leslie was the owner of Excapades Hair Studio.
He was preceded in death by both grandfathers, William Wheaton and William Conner; and grandmother, Ammie Potts
He is survived by his grandfather, David Potts; grandmother, Mary Conner; parents, Leslie Stallworth, Sr. and Sarah Stallworth of Gulfport, MS; two sisters, Lekeshia Stallworth of Gulfport MS and Latoya Stallworth of Los Angeles, CA.; one brother, Keith (Justine) Stallworth, Germany; nieces and nephews, Jeremy Tannan, Jermiya Spears, Chole, Emery, Tristian and Abigail Stallworth.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1 with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at Little Rock Baptist Church, 4538 15th St., Gulfport. Interment will be in Monore Park.
House of Richmond in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.

Leslie my dear friend, from the first time I walked into your shop I have always felt the love, the friend ship and the respect you had to offer.I will miss your smile,all of your jokes, but most of all the love you showed evey one.I will never forget the talk we had,no matter what people had to say rather they were in chruch or in the streets. Leslie was such a kind, giving person. As you have read many times in this guest book, he would always keep you laughing. He had such a "way" with people. He has been my stylist for about 8 years and has been doing my 9 year old's hair since she was about 5. He was so patient with her and I dearly appreciated him. He will be missed by me and my family immensely. May God bless you all and keep you in his tender and loving care.

My sorrow at Leslie's passing is so deep that I can hardly think what his family must be feeling. He was a special soul who had a gift of love for all. We are wishing peace, love, and God's greatest blessings and grace upon all who mourn his passing... his GMWA family, his friends and loved ones, especially his immediate family members.
