Yes, Uncle "Tex" had the most beautiful, amazing garden. I will miss you very much Uncle Tex-I have very fond memories of all the vacations that we spent in Denver! I am so sorry that we could not be there for your service, but rest assured, at least my thoughts, were with your whole family on this day, actually since Sunday. As a matter of fact, I wasn't paying attention today at work and I twisted my ankle. Love and deepest sympathies to all of you-Aunt Peggy, Mike, Gail & Joe, Pete & Sandy, and Joey.
Love,
Susan and David Sharp

Today I worked in my garden in honor of you. I thought to myself, “Grandpa would think this garden is a disgrace." You always had the most amazing garden, with the biggest pumpkins and the best vegetables. I will miss your amazing spicy pickles and your enthusiasm for nature. I really wish I could have seen you more in the later years. Thank you for teaching me to fish and helping to spawn my interest in nature. The world is a better place because of you, and you will be missed dearly. I love you!
