MOUNT LEBANON - Mrs. Leslie Minor Swartz, 92, of 228 Connecting Rd., Mount Lebanon (near Pittsburgh), entered into eternal rest at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2004, in the St. Clair Memorial Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born May 25, 1912, in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of the late Leslie and Eleanor Holland (Wheat) Minor.
Mrs. Swartz graduated from Goucher College with a bachelor's of art degree in 1933 and also from Bucknell University where she earned her master's degree in mathematics in 1936. It was at Bucknell University where she met her husband-to-be, Lloyd Monroe Swartz of Richfield, who is the son of the late Banks and Dora (Barner) Swartz. They were married on July 17, 1941 and her passing breaks a marital union of 63 years.,
She was a former member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Lewisburg; the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Dormont; and at the time of her death was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Mount Lebanon. She was active in church activities.
Mrs. Swartz had an avid interest in family history and was a member of the Genealogy Group of the Mount Lebanon Public Library.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one son, Lloyd Minor Swartz and his wife Carol of Boerne, Texas; two daughters, Eleanor S. Sharp and her husband David R. of Murrysville and Margaret Hynes and her husband Paul of Lyman, Wyo.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Henry Clay Minor of Mechanicsburg.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Louise Minor in infancy.
Friends and family may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church, RR1 Richfield, where the funeral will follow at 11 with the Rev. Timothy W. Bingman officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were made by the George P. Garman Funeral Home Inc., Mount Pleasant Mills.
