Leslie Thompson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 6, 2024.
Leslie Thompson, 66, of Fallbrook, California, passed away on September 20, 2023, at her home. Born on June 26, 1957, Leslie was a beloved sister, aunt, and stepmother.

Leslie was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Mociler. She is survived by her brothers, Randy Archbold and Terry Archbold, along with their respective spouses, Sue and Anna. Her niece, Erin Archbold-Silman, and her husband Phil, as well as her nephew, Ethan Archbold, and his wife Netta, also survive her. Leslie is also remembered by her stepchildren, Trisha and her husband Jason from North Las Vegas, and Holly Thall and her husband Loren from Calabasas, California.

Leslie had a passion for her family and cherished her step-grandchildren, great nephews, and great niece. She took pride in ensuring that every Christmas, Easter, and birthday celebration for her loved ones was always special.

For over thirty years, Leslie dedicated her career to serving as a civil service employee at Camp Pendleton. Her commitment and hard work allowed her to retire in 2015.

Photography and traveling were two of Leslie's greatest joys in life. When her husband purchased a Harley Davidson motorcycle, Leslie decided to join in on the adventure. Together, they explored the hills of Fallbrook and its surrounding areas until an unfortunate accident prompted her to retire from riding. Leslie was also an avid animal lover, particularly fond of Doberman Pinschers. She raised them in North Carolina and later in Anza, California, where she resided before settling in Fallbrook. Her cats held a special place in her heart, as she spared no expense in providing them with every imaginable toy.

A celebration of Leslie Thompson's life will be held at a later date in Utah. The details of the ceremony will be announced in due course.

Leslie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and loved ones. May she rest in eternal peace.
