Jack Worley was the most wonderful, sweetest man I have ever known. His laughter still rings in my head and heart, and not a day goes by that I don't think of him. The boys and I will never forget you or Lona. We miss you very much.

TO THE FAMILY OF LES WORLEY: I ONLY MET HIM 2YEARS AGO...HE WAS AS ALONA WAS A VERY SPECIAL KIND OF PERSON. IN MANY WAYS A DETERMINED SELF MADE MAN WHO SEEMED TO CARE FOR OTHERS IN A UNIQUE WAY. HE WAS A VERY RARE TYPE WHICH THE U.S.A. SO GREATLY NEEDS AND HAS SO FEW OF. IT WAS A PLEASURE TO HAVE KNOWN HIM.

Dear Jack: Remember the pecan pie I baked for you down at the river one summer day? It was my first try at baking one, and when I called you in to eat, I pulled it out and it was soupy!!! Yech! I had forgotten to put the oven on BAKE instead of PREHEAT, and the pie was so runny. But being the gracious man you were, you laughed with me about it, and we both ate a piece, with a SPOON. I love you and will miss you terribly. There is such an empty spot in my heart now, but I will remember you forever as the kindest and gentlest "dad" in my life. Love

Uncle Jack,
You will be missed by all of your family and your many friends whose lives you touched with your generosity, kindness and teaching. You were a true humanitarian. Serviing in two wars, your love of country was unsurpassed. We will remember the many, many Sundays spent at the river with you and Alona when we were growing up. Thank you for the myriad of ways that you contributed to our lives.
